Looking forward to 2016!

The year 2015 has unfortunately been marked by tragic events and  many losses that have deeply saddened us. But what matters more than anything is to keep hope and to enjoy every moments of happiness. I share with you the words and wishes expressed by Jacques Brel on January 1, 1968, still very relevant in 2016.

I wish you to never stop dreaming and to keep a furious desire to make some of them come true. I wish you to love what needs to be loved and to forget what needs to be forgotten. I wish you passions, I wish you silences. I wish you to wake up with birdsongs and the sound of children laughing. I wish you to respect others’ difference because each of our merit and value are still to be discovered. I wish you to resist to stagnation, indifference and to the negatives vibes of our times. At last, I wish you to never give up on research, adventure, life, love because life is a wonderful adventure and no one must give up without running a rough battle. Above all I wish you to be you, proud and happy, because happiness is our true fate.
Jacques Brel, January 1, 1968 (Radio Europe 1)

I wish you all the best for 2016, a year filled with happiness, passions, peace and serenity.
