David Toutain’s delicious feast

If you don’t know who David Toutain is, it’s time to take note. Since he opened his eponymous restaurant in 2013, his name has been on everyone’s lips and his refined concoctions haven’t ceased to impress.

Creative and passionate, David Toutain belongs to a new generation of talented and spellbinding chefs, having recently been awarded his first Michelin star. His exquisite cuisine, built around vegetables (he had trained with the famous chef Alain Passard) and fresh produce, will amaze the foodiest of foodies.

He enjoys surprising us with audacious but always successful combinations – like oysters, foie gras, and Brussel sprouts in a warm potato consommé, or a coconut, white chocolate, and cauliflower dessert! He loves marrying textures (crispy beet rolls filled with mousse) and mixing flavours. Among his specialties is a delicious smoked eel with black sesame mousse. A pure delicacy.

The decor is simple and soothing, with a long wooden table at the centre of the room that makes us feel like we’re at home – a far cry from the classic white tablecloth look.

In other words, an exceptional address you’ll want to revisit again and again.
